Checking out the New Mural at the Bowery Wall
And so it goes, the latest art to grace the Bowery Mural Wall is complete.
Brooklyn-based Japanese artist Tomokazu Matsuyama spent the better part of two weeks painting the piece. No doubt a record for murals here. The final brushstroke was Monday.
“Utterly happy that I was able to contribute back to NY after being here for nearly two decades,” the artist wrote on his Instagram yesterday.
The burning question now, as always, is how long before it’s defaced?
