Grey Lady on Delancey Street is a fraction of its former self, now slinging seafood as if on a beach. In the time of COVID-19, it’s a seafood shack.
Indeed, ownership affixed weathered wood signage to the entrance advertising the menu of takeaway items. For instance, fish tacos ($13), lobster rolls ($18), chowder ($5), and cheeseburgers ($12).
The restaurant made headlines at the outset of the coronavirus lockdown two months ago by handing out thirty gallons of free soup for those in need.
