‘Mictlan Mexico’ to Replace Fat Radish on Orchard Street
The Orchard Street storefront previously occupied by Fat Radish didn’t stay vacant long. Seven months after its closure due to fallout from the coronavirus pandemic, a replacement is underway.
Coming soon to 17 Orchard is a new Mexican restaurant by the hand of Natalin Perez, who currently operates Haab out in Brooklyn. Mictlan Mexico, as it’s known, will serve Mexican cuisine and boast fifteen tables, according to application materials submitted to Community Board 3.
As principal, Perez seeks a full liquor license for the taqueria, along with operating hours of noon to midnight daily.
