‘Grand Street Pizza’ for Seward Park

Pizza is in bloom at a former flower shop on Grand Street.
The aptly named Grand Street Pizza is headed to 384 Grand Street, which previously housed an iteration of Flowers on Essex (later moved to Clinton Street).
Principals Ian Glazer and Robert Persson are behind the new slice spot. The latter is a Lower East Side shopkeeper of note for his BonBon candy shop over on Allen Street.
The pizzeria is standard issue, except that it seeks beer and wine privileges. To that end, Community Board 3 this month fast-tracked its approval based on standard license stipulations.
