Orchard Street Boutique Damaged by Car Collision Raises Over $10K to Rebuild
This past Monday, a home goods boutique on Orchard Street was devastated when the driver of a Toyota Camry barreled into its store.
November 19, as the establishment is called, had only opened at 37 Orchard three weeks earlier, and is now picking up the literal pieces. Damage to its inventory was extensive, so ownership took to social media for financial appeal.
Advocates kickstarted a GoFundMe drive on Thursday to help the store rebuild. And replace the “hand-picked home goods that Clark, the founder, lovingly selected and curated over years and years.” Its goal was $10,000, an amount it handily surpassed within the day. As of this morning, total amount raised is about $10,700.
