Police released chilling new surveillance video showing the approached the defenseless delivery worker, moments before allegedly murdering him and stealing the electronic bike on the Lower East Side.

As reported, the incident transpired early Saturday morning near the Hester Playground in Sara D. Roosevelt Park. The footage shows the attacker sitting on the bench next to the 51-year-old Grubhub worker, identified as Sala Miah, mere moments before he allegedly pulls the knife to kill.

The footage then cuts to the perp walking away with the victim’s e-bike.

According to reporting in the Daily News, Miah had just finished a long shift, and as he often did, stopped by the park to unwind before heading to the nearby apartment he shared with four roommates. And apparently he borrowed money from a friend to buy the e-bike about six months ago.
