Grand Street Pizza Now Slinging Slices
The Seward Park foothills of Grand Street just gained one.
The eponymous Grand Street Pizza finally opened its doors to the public two weeks ago with a mid-October soft launch. Its arrival – just across the street from Saluggi’s – is a few months later than the springtime projections previously disclosed.
Principals Ian Glazer and Robert Persson are behind this new slice spot at 384 Grand, the former Flowers on Essex. The latter is a Lower East Side shopkeeper of note for his BonBon candy shop over on Allen Street.
Initial reviews of the establishment are mostly positive.
