Police are looking for a suspect wanted for assaulting a 77-year-old man inside a Lower East Side bodega last week.
At noontime on December 15, the attacker approached his victim inside the bodega at 161 Rivington Street, and both became involved in a verbal dispute, police said.
As the men headed toward the front door, the altercation became violent. The two began to push and shove each other, during which time the perpetrator punched the senior man in the face. He then fled the store on foot in an unknown direction.
The victim suffered a lost tooth and nasal laceration, but reportedly refused medical attention at the scene.
The 7th Precinct yesterday morning released surveillance footage of the guy behind the assault, and are offering $3,500 for info on his whereabouts.
Police describe the aggressor as a 30-something man with medium complexion with short, dark hair, standing 5-foot-1-inch, and weighing 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, a yellow t-shirt, blue sweatpants and white sneakers, and carrying a black bag.
