Momoya to Open this Month at Former Miss Paradis on Prince Street

After four years of dormancy, the freestanding building at the corner of Prince and Mulberry Streets is finally ready for a new commercial occupant.
Momoya, a city-based sushi chain, last fall signed a 13-year deal to occupy the two-story, 4,400-square-foot structure.
The new establishment opens March 30, according to its official website, marking the third for the company behind Chelsea and the Upper West Side.
Momoya’s predecessor, the ill-fated Miss Paradis, designed by Phillipe Starck, closed its doors in 2018 after only a year in business (and four prior years of planning). Its gleaming rooftop apple did not live to see its unveiling, either.
