The tallest tower to take shape below Grand Street in recent years now boasts some skin in the game.
Topped out last fall, the new development beside the former Bialystoker Nursing Home on East Broadway, is starting to match its initial renderings. The exterior paneling is making its way up the super-structure.
This jagged mess of condos – conceived and developed by Round Square Development (née Ascend Group) – will boast 54 condo apartments, each averaging about 1,397 square-feet. Key amenities include a basement pool and 30-foot-long rear yard.
And according to the onsite signage, the project is now officially known as 222 East Broadway, with residences “immersed in the energy, community, and legacy of the Lower East Side.
