Man Shot in Leg in Drug Deal Gone Bad on Delancey Street
A man was shot early Sunday morning in a drug deal gone bad inside Sara D. Roosevelt Park, police said.
The 30-year-old victim was shot in the leg near the sunken court, where the purported drug transaction happened. Sources disclose that two suspects in their twenties allegedly took drugs, possibly K2, from the victim before shooting him in the right leg.
The victim limped to Delancey where he fell to the ground.
The NYPD Shot Spotter detected the fired rounds, and responded to the scene. The victim was removed to Bellevue in stable condition.
