If there was doubt before, no longer. The technological takeover of the streetscape is upon us. Nowhere is that more evident than the Lower East Side, where post-apocalyptic antennae are multiplying on sidewalks. Rising some two stories into the sky.
The first such pole was spotted near 169 Bar last week; the same day, we also noted placements outside the Pickle Guys and Target on Grand Street.
