Russ & Daughters Reopens its Orchard Street Cafe After 2 Years on the Sidelines

After teasing a return for the better part of the last three months, Russ & Daughters finally relaunched the cafe.

The Orchard Street eatery reopened yesterday for business, capping a two-year stint on the pandemic-fueled sidelines. The cafe is accommodating walk-ins only. No reservations.

“Like lox without bagel, rollmop without onions, rugelach without jam, something was missing: you,” ownership quipped in the announcement.

The news about the cafe, which debuted at 127 Orchard in May 2014, follows on the heels of plans for a new scripted series is in development about the Russ & Daughters appetizing empire.

The Russ & Daughters Cafe is open Thursdays through Mondays, 8:30 – 2:30pm (last seating).
