Closed nearly four years already, one Lower East Side restaurant is headed out to the pastures of Sin City.
Stanton Social Prime, as it’s called, is helmed by original founder, chef Chris Santos and the Tao Group. As such, the revived establishment will feature a replica of the Lower East Side menu. Embalmed for eternity on the Strip.
Stanton Social debuted in 2005, and quickly became a hit. Some credit the sceney restaurant with popularizing the tapas-style communal dining experience seen all over these days. Much like Beauty & Essex, it attracted stars; Amy Schumer apparently worked there as a bartender. It closed New Year’s Eve in 2018.
