Those Anti-Gun Ads on Lower East Side Bus Shelters
You may have noticed the arrival of several anti-gun advertisements on Lower East Side bus shelters of late. The output – all being fake – is the product of one rebel-rouser.
Over the last several years, these seemingly accurate ads have provided commentary on controversial mainstream stories, from Facebook chicanery to the War in Ukraine. Always at the ready is street provocateur, Winston Tseng, whose treatments are so well designed and placed that most passersby probably wouldn’t look twice.
Tseng’s latest barrage of fake billboards take aim at gun violence.
Last month saw the arrival of an imposter American Apparel promo at the Pike/Madison M15 bus stop; this one suggesting that nationwide apparel of choice is now the flak jacket due to high incidence of mass shootings. It was deposed after a few short days.
There is another just around the corner at the Madison/Pike M22 bus stop. An NRA fake.
