A man shot his pregnant girlfriend’s sister during an argument outside the Holiday Inn on Delancey Street, police said.

The shooting transpired Friday evening near the corner of Suffolk Street. The man and a woman were reportedly arguing outside about her recently learning she was pregnant, and that he was the father.

The woman’s 22-year-old sister stepped between them to break it up, and the man fired. She suffered a gunshot wound to the hip, purportedly in front of her own 3-month-old child, according to police.

The victim was rushed to Bellevue Hospital, where she is expected to survive. Cops arrested the shooter, who was not identified, at the scene. Charges are now pending against him.

It’s worth noting this shooting took place across the street from a daycare center, and down the block from an elementary school.

Below is some bystander footage shot the immediate aftermath.
