Four Teenagers Arrested with Loaded Guns at PUBLIC Hotel on Chrystie Street

Four teens were busted with three loaded guns inside the PUBLIC Hotel this week.

Jarell Swan (19), Anton Philips (18), Linwood Spruill (18), and an unidentified 15-year-old boy were arrested at the swanky, 28-story Chrystie Street lodge on Wednesday, and charged with weapons possession.

The four friends were reportedly smoking weed in their room shortly before 5:00pm, when a housekeeper spotted a gun on the table and reported the guests. The group headed to the lobby for a brief time, and upon returning – as if in a movie – were met by 5th Precinct officers in the elevator bay.

The cops asked the teenagers to raise their shirts, and discovered that two of them were carrying loaded firearms. A third gun was found in the hotel room.

All four were arrested on site.

Swan himself, at nineteen, is already a career criminal and alleged gangbanger. He was out on $75,000 bail in connection to a reckless endangerment charge from December 30, in which he allegedly sprayed bullets on a Bedford-Stuyvesant street, according to the New York Post.

Swan had also posted bail in July 2021 after being named in a superseding indictment for attempted murder.
