Nothing permanent has really taken to 125 Rivington Street since Rivington Guitars bolted from its namesake location in 2008 and settled in the East Village. Only a series of pop-up shops. Despite recent liquor license applications to the contrary, 125 Rivington Street can’t attract a long-term tenant to save its life. Over the years, 125 Rivington Street became a revolving door of sorts for the Sebago shoe brand and its collaboration with the Vane design collective.

New York-based design collective Vane is again teaming up with Sebago shoes for a pop-up shop at 125 Rivington. Only this time, the gates don’t have commissioned art-vertising.
