The verdict is in. Apparently it takes a week and a half to clear away fallen tree limbs in the neighborhood. As of last night, the coast is all clear on Mott Street just north of Houston.

Mott Street Tree Remains an Obstruction

Over a week after a tree outside 307 Mott Street snapped in half, cleanup efforts are nowhere in sight. The dead branch remains an obstruction on the sidewalk, the yellow caution tape torn from its initial perimeter position. Seriously, how long does it take to truck in the industrial strength wood chipper?

This tree is another casualty of the recent stormy weather that passed through the city.
