The spillover of produce crates and shelves from the adjacent Heng Yun Market will soon revert to 94 Hester Street. A new player is in town and it’s of the corporate ilk.

Off the main drag of outdoor Chinese markets on Grand Street, a new produce station just recently opened a block south at 94 Hester Street. The identity of the operation is still unknown, though, and there aren’t any signs in place as yet. But it sure is attracting plenty of customers.
