Subway Now Open at 229 Chrystie Street

The Avalon Chrystie condo-slash-strip mall officially filled its final retail vacancy.  Subway is now open for business at 229 Chrystie Street, roughly five months after work first began. If you decide to dine here, be sure to avoid the always-heaping piles of garbage bags. Does their “eat fresh” slogan still apply in this instance…?

Stop Jaws on Ludlow

Apparently, this is the proper method of trashing your Jaws costume after a night of partying.  The hulking prop was standing innocently at the corner of Stanton and Ludlow Street last night.
