New Developments at the Sperone Westwater Gallery

In the last month or so, the glass window casing has quickly raced up the front of 257 Bowery, future home of the Sperone Westwater Gallery.  The building now boasts more definition, and is no longer just a hulking slab of concrete.

We just walked past Pianos at 158 Ludlow and learned that the local performance space had a fire earlier this morning.  As we speak, workers are installing new glass panes to replace all the shattered windows, as others sweep and clear out the interior.  The employee managing the situation was understandably reluctant with any formal […]
