Always refreshing to see a lemonade stand on a brutally scorching day. A pair of girls set up their table outside the Hernandez Houses on Allen Street. Judging by the small crowds purchasing liquid sustenance, they probably did pretty well.

Crime Update: Hernandez Houses Drug Bust

Tuesday night’s action at the Hernandez Houses at Eldridge and Stanton was part of a large-scale drug bust. That explains all the commotion and helicopter spotlights. DNAinfo is reporting that NYPD personnel executed search warrants and discovered an “undisclosed amount” of drugs.
