Breaking: Fried Dumpling Returns to 99 Allen

Many a neighborhood resident mourned after the sudden closure of Fried Dumpling back in April 2009. The narrow hole-in-the-wall eatery was often cited as the best, most affordable dumplings this side of Chinatown. But once those security gates were drawn for the final time, Vanessa’s Dumpling House began to pick up much of the slack.
