The Pritzker Architecture Prize is often considered the Nobel in the field of architecture.  It’s awarded annually to one “living artist,” and consists of $100,000 cash and a bronze medallion.  This year’s winner is the Japanese design duo behind the New Museum on the Bowery, Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa.
