While the Federal-style house at 206 Bowery grabs all the headlines for its swift attention at the Landmarks Preservation Commission, its immediate neighbor to the north isn’t as lucky. A tipster informed us yesterday that eviction notices were served to 208 Bowery.

Aurora, the trinket-slash-old-school-boutique shop at 185 Bleecker Street is out of business. In fact, if the notice attached to the window is any indication, the self-proclaimed “fabulous boutique” was legally possessed by the Marshal’s Office on February 9.
