Eater is reporting that Element, the upscale nightclub inside the old Provident Loan Society building on East Houston, is shutting down for good. It didn’t take long for a replacement watering hole to seize control of the former Blue Seats space at 157 Ludlow. Five months after the high-end sports venture shuttered, a bar called The Draft is taking its place. Which explains the increased activity around the site, including the new paint job.
