Situated on one of the more baron blocks of the Lower East Side, one might think the stout six-story brick building was little more than a run-down vacancy.

It’s an underground network known predominantly by word of mouth. Subterranean music dens to rehearse and record. Rivington Street alone has a handful to its name, though not outwardly evident.
