Sapphire Lounge Closes for Expected 3-Month Renovation Period

You could call it the end of an era, cliche as it may be. The twenty-year-old Sapphire Lounge is now closed to undergo a planned remodeling. Saturday night was the sendoff party for the old space at 249 Eldridge Street. Owner Jahan Salarimatin tells us, “[We closed] Sapphire for soundproofing and revamping for 3 months.” […]

Eldridge Block Association Scores Victory Against Sapphire Lounge at SLA Hearing
