Strange Skullcap on the Bowery

Okay, so the weather has cooled down significantly in the past week, and Fall fashion is in full effect.  That’s a given.  But what isn’t is the questionably chic skullcap worn by this woman strolling down the Bowery (north of Prince Street).  Seriously, what animal was sacrificed for this?  Mighty strange.
