A family-friendly event that features the best of the Lower East Side. Stop by for outdoor activities, a little music, sidewalk cafes and an oasis of fun on the Lower East Side. Last year’s event was a great success, featuring skateboarding workshops, face painting, grilling demonstrations, food tastings, historic and cultural tours, giveaways and lots more.

The Stanton Street Summer Sundays program is set to return for the second year running, courtesy of the Lower East Side Business Improvement District. Beginning July 11, the family-friendly block party will occupy Stanton between Allen and Ludlow for three consecutive Sundays.

Just a quick reminder that Stanton Street Summer Sundays continue today. Highlights include samples from Jeffrey’s Meat Market and a free tour hosted by the Jewish Conservancy focusing on the Jewish Heritage Landmarks of the Lower East Side.
