The 100-degree temperatures were practically begging for us all to figure out a way to chill, and with massively extended solos and groove jams, the bands playing CBGB Festival’s SummerStage show this past Saturday, figured out a way to make it happen.

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of SummerStage, the City Parks Foundation just announced a series of events at sixteen different parks across the Five Boroughs. One of the city venues earmarked for the celebration is the East River Park, which will host thirteen arts programs and herald in a brand-spankin’-new bike valet initiative.
