The small Swedish market alongside White Slab Palace, dubbed Fisk, is now open. Upon entry, you are amidst a somewhat rustic setting, with all sorts of traditional treats available for purchase. Shelves are stocked with cheeses, sodas, candies, cookies, and the like.

We now have a greater understanding as to why White Slab Palace hoisted a pair of Swedish flags at 77 Delancey in June. The corner nightspot is actually opening a Swedish-themed market of sorts in their adjacent storefront space.

The prime real estate at the southwest corner of Allen and Delancey is to become a cafe tentatively called Berkli Parc Cafe. The news is not too surprising, though, considering the recent positioning of other upscale restaurants near this particular intersection (e.g. Sorella, White Slab Palace).
